The Duffy Bros Group is 100% Australian owned. the Managing Director Nick Pisciuneri has been involved in the produce industry for over 30 years.

The name Duffy Bros has been synonymous with fruit and vegetable since 1926.

The Duffy Bros Group owns warehouse facilities located at Sydney Markets from which an integrated purchasing, warehousing distribution system and the retail sales operations are conducted.

The Group owns and operates 9 retail outlets in the Sydney metropolitan area. It presently supplies one franchised store as well as independent stores, numerous clubs, restaurants and retail chains.

The Duffy Bros operation employs a workforce of approximately 150.

The Duffy Bros Group is structured to respond rapidly to changes in consumer demand. Location at the Sydney fruit and vegetable markets, in the geographic centre of the greater Sydney area is a major advantage, ensuring the Company has consistent and reliable product supply and rapid response to consumer requirements.

The franchised retail and company owned operations are not exclusively involved in retailing fruit and vegetables. A varying percentage of sales in each outlet consist of a wide variety of groceries and associated products based upon local need and competitive activities.

Duffy Bros formula for success is a wide and varied range of fresh merchandise economically priced and attractively merchandised in high profile, high traffic flow shopping centres or well attended shopping precincts.

Products are supplied from the Duffy Bros Sydney markets wholesale operation or from associated suppliers. In most cases this method provides more competitive prices than individual outlets purchasing independently from a variety of wholesalers.
